The hostel was built more than 50 years ago, however, the current management only acquired it in 1985. They decided to give it a much more homey feel and it has since been renovated and extended to offer the best possible service to guests. Every year we make improvements to ensure that it provides all the day-to-day comforts that guests might expect.
The hostel is not aimed at guests who are looking for a luxurious place to stay, but rather those who need a clean room with all the necessary comforts and at a reasonable price. We ensure that the guests staying here respect the communal nature of the property, so as to install a sence of confidence and harmony among everybody.
The best aspect of the hostel is its excellent location in Barcelona: very close to the sea and near the city centre, and right next to the gothic district of la Ribera, which is very popular for tapas and drinks. We are also located close to the large Parque de la Ciudadela and the Estación de Francia trainstation. Guests often remark on the cleanliness and the great location, near all the interesting attractions for tourists.
