Visión general

The Pilgrim es un hotel y restaurante cómodo, popular y muy bien establecido, situado detrás de la A49 en Herefordshire, que ofrece habitaciones tranquilas y refinadas, así como productos locales de calidad en el bar y el restaurante.

Se pueden atender reservas de grupo y dietas especiales con poca antelación. El personal está bien capacitado, es eficiente y muy amable.

Historia

The building dates back to the 1890's when it was the Much Birch rectory. History has it that one of the early rector's dogs, San Toy, is buried in a wall in the bar!

The Hotel gets it's name from being on the pilgrimage route of St Ethelbert, who was brutally slain in Herefordshire at the hands of King Offa.

Room only guests can enjoy a full Herefordshire breakfast on a daily basis in the restaurant for a charge of £10.95pp.  The bar/restaurant serves locally sourced, beautifully prepared food seven days a week, every week, ranging through Breakfast Butties, All Day Cakes, Lunch, Afternoon Teas & Dinner.

The Pilgrim is set back from the A49  halfway between Ross to Hereford and is just eight miles from the end of the M50 motorway, giving easy access to Birmingham, Cardiff and Bristol, the mainline railway station at Hereford has direct trains to London.

Directions

  • From Wales - M4 to Newport, then A449 through Monmouth to Ross on Wye, then left on A49 to Hereford.
  • From Midlands - M50 to Ross on Wye, turn right at 3rd roundabout on A49 to Hereford.
  • From London - M4 to M48, over "Old Severn Bridge", turn off fo Chepstow, then follow A466 to Monmouth. Turn right on A 40 towards Ross on Wye then turn left at A49 roundabout to Hereford.
