The White Horse Inn is a traditional English village pub set deep in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside, perfect for cycling, walking, sightseeing or just simply relaxing. We are only a short drive from Avebury or the major shopping centre and Roman spa town of Bath and ideally placed for visiting thriving country towns such as Chippenham, Calne, Devizes, Marlborough and Royal Wootton Bassett.
Our AA 4 Star Gold Bed & Breakfast accommodation is in a separate building behind the main pub. With most of the rooms overlooking our paddock hosting our pigs, sheep and geese, it is a wonderful country escape.
Our award winning restaurant has maintained an AA Rosette for a number of years. An essential part of our ethos is to use fresh, local produce and ingredients, delivered daily, to enhance the quality of our homemade food.
In our separate bar area, you will find a constantly evolving variety of real ales from local breweries, alongside a great selection of gins and other spirits. Our wine list has been carefully compiled to complement our food.
Please note we don't guarantee tables availability in our restaurant for B&B guests, could you please request a table upon room booking.
Check in is from 3pm until 9.30pm. If you require a check in outside of these hours please let us know.
