Lovely couple who only took over the Guest House in June and have plans to up the standards, which are already pretty high. Parking might be an issue during the busy summer months, apart from that, could not find fault and would certainly stay there again.

Room furniture showing its age. On arrival, Bedside lights had no bulbs and TV was not tuned; these should have been checked by housekeeping prior to our arrival. Impressive food and outstanding service from staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Bear of Rodborough Hotel, Stroud

Very nice and comfortable ensuite room. This is an excellent deal in terms of geographical situation in central and in terms of money. We keep the address and will come back for sure.

The Hotel was suburb the staff exceptionally helpful, a repeat visit to the hotel is definitely on the cards. Location very convenient to all venues in Buxton

Perfect for what I wanted-very close to venue, en-suite, fridge in room (bonus!), plenty of parking. Ideal. Will book next year if I get a place!

Overall, we had a lovely stay at Spylaw Bank House. David was very welcoming and helpful. A great location to easily get into the city centre.
