BEAUTIFUL BOOKINGS

Durham uni castle accommodations were great. The mattreses at Ambleside and Goldsmiths were bordering on painful, and I was beginning to worry that they were standard issue for uni rooms. Durham was so comfortable that I booked extra days. Helpful staff and security.

We used to be students so had some idea what to expect. Room was better than expected but too hot so had to turn down the radiators and open the windows! The shower room was rather tired with a hole in part of the flooring but quite useable. We hope to be back!

Room was basic but clean and modern. Bathroom small and could do with an update. Extractor fan not working and no window in bathroom. Overall good value
