Jesus College, Oxford

I was there for a college members' event (Gaudy dinner) which was superbly organised and enjoyable, as usual. My room in the new Cheng Building was as well designed and comfortable as could be hoped for, bearing in mind that it's student accommodation. Being a light sleeper, I found the periodic hum (of the ventilation system?) slightly obtrusive, but otherwise all was absolutely fine.

Lovely staff and decent room and breakfast. Unfortunately there was so much noise from the street outside that we didn’t get much sleep. People out drinking until the early hours and then waste collection and cleaning of Covered Market starting early on Sunday morning.

ideal for what i was doing - a Gaudy. The room was what i expected - v small, but its a student room. Good value for money as well as the breakfast. Staff very helpful and accommodating.

Dinner was great. Staff and service wonderful. Room was beautiful but looked directly onto Macdonald’s Cornmarket which opens until 3am. It was very noisy!
