Magpie Lane House (Oriel College), Oxford

It is a lovely, clean & well stocked space split into two levels over the 2nd & 3rd floors(3rd and 4th floor for an American).While it is very lovely, I do not recommend staying here during the warmest part of the summer as it is very hot up there & there is no A/C. I’m sure during cooler weather that it is a much more comfortable space.I kept the shades drawn during the entire stay to try & keep the place cooler.Perhaps the suites on ground flr and the 1st flr would be a better choice in summer

Porters were very helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable and in an excellent location. Candy Ramirez at Speedy Booker was extremely helpful and efficient in sorting out a change of booking that couldn't be done on website. Thank you.

What an absolutely fabulous place to stay! Check in was easy, the room was lovely with everything that we needed and it was perfectly located for all we wanted to do in Oxford. Would love to stay again.

Excellent location just off the high street. 24 hour reception and left luggage was extremely useful
